Ra-Harakhty, Falcon headed Sun God, Lord of the
Underworld / Underground
-- "Why a Bat?"
When Ra retired
from the Earth, he appointed Thoth and told him of his desire to create a
Light-soul in the Duat and in the Land of the Caves, and it was over this
region that the sun god appointed Thoth to rule, ordering him to keep a
register of those who were there, and to mete out just punishments to
them. Thoth became the representation of Ra in the afterlife, seen at the
judgment of the dead in the 'Halls of the Double Ma'at'.

According to
legend, Hermes was born in a cave on Mount Cyllene in Arcadia. ... Being
the herald (messenger of the gods), it was his duty to guide the souls
of the dead down to the underworld, which is known as a psychopomp.

The ancient Egyptian Eye of Horus or
wedjat ('Whole One') is a powerful symbol of protection, and is also
considered to confer wisdom, health and prosperity. Horus was one of the
most important Egyptian gods, a sun-god represented as a falcon or with
the head of a hawk, whose right eye was the sun and whose left eye was the
moon. He was the son of Osiris (god of the underworld) and Isis
(mother goddess). Osiris was slain by his own brother, the evil Set
(jackal-headed god of night), and Horus fought Set to avenge his father's
death, winning the battle but losing an eye in the process. The eye was
restored by the magic of the god of wisdom and the moon, Thoth, and this
allowed Horus to grant Osiris rebirth in the underworld. The Eye of Horus symbol was used in funerary rites and decoration, as instructed in
the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
After 1200 BC, it was also used by the Egyptians to represent fractions,
based on repeated division by two. Both the right and the left eyes of
Horus were depicted by the ancient Egyptians. The wounding of the left eye
served as a mythical explanation of the phases of the moon, and its
magical restoration meant that the left was usually the one used as an
amulet and considered to be the 'Eye of Horus'. The right eye is sometimes
referred to as the 'Eye of Ra', the sun god, though often little
distinction is made between the two eyes.

Fear followeth after thee,
terror is about thine arms. Thou hast been embraced for millions of
years by arms; mortals go round about thee. Thou smitest down the
mediators of thy foes, and thou seizest the arms of the power of darkness.
Thy two sisters (Isis and Nephthys) are given to thee for thy delight.
Thou hast created that which is in Kher-aha, and that which is Anu. Every
god feareth thee, for thou art exceedingly great and terrible; thou [avengest]
every god on the man who curseth him, and thou shootest arrows at him.
Thou livest according to thy will.
-- The Egyptian Book of the Dead
Ra's's goal is a world in perfect
environmental balance, a goal he will achieve at any cost. Since he
believes that the best way to do so is to eliminate most of humanity, he
may be regarded as an ecoterrorist bent upon
global genocide. That he has the means to achieve his goal
makes him extremely dangerous and brings him in into frequent conflict
with Batman. Ra's usually tries to assault the world's human populace with
a biological weapon, such as a genetically-engineered virus.

Tripod II [Pun, there!] was a biological warfare exercise conducted jointly by
the US Department of Justice and the City of New York; it was scheduled
for September 12, 2001, and formally speaking never took place. Its
obvious relevance was to provide a cover for various pre- 9/11 activities
in New York City.

"9/11 Synthetic Terrorism Made in USA," by Webster Griffin Tarpley
[Thierry Meyssan
of Reseau Voltaire of Paris] reported that his research team attempted to
determine what network might have been behind the 9/11 attacks. His prime
suspect was a group he called the "special forces underground," a
terrorist network associated with US-controlled stay-behind networks of
the Gladio type which in his opinion maintained close ties to Bin Laden
among others.

Air Force One landed at Offutt shortly
before 3:00 p.m. Offutt Air Force Base near Omaha Nebraska was the
principal headquarters of the US Strategic Command (STRATCOM), the
successor organization to Curtis LeMay's Strategic Air Command of Cold War
vintage. This base possessed the main military command bunker of the US
for nuclear warfighting purposes. Bush arrived here at 2:50 Eastern
Daylight Time. He went at once to the bunker, which was several stories
underground [LC-1], and protected by a series of blast doors and the like.
The conference room was ABC proof: As Bamford evokes the tableau: "It was
like a scene from Dr. Strangelove, or
Seven Days in May. Never before had all the pieces been in place for the
instant launch of World War III. The military alert level was at its
highest level in thirty years. The Vice President was in the White House
bunker, senior administration officials were at Site R, congressional
officials had been flown to Mount Weather, the Secretary of Defense and
the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff were in the Pentagon War
Room, and the President of the United States was in the nuclear command
bunker at STRATCOM."

Air Force One landed at Barksdale Air
Force base near Shreveport, Louisiana at about 11:45 a.m. (CBS, September
11, 2002; Daily Telegraph, December 16, 2001) "According to intelligence
sources, a key reason for deciding to land there was that Barksdale was
home to the US Strategic (Air) Command's alternate underground command
post, a bunker from which Bush could run a war if necessary. It was
also a place where the President could rendezvous with 'Night Watch,' the
'Doomsday Plane.'

In particular the
SS-"Sturmbannführer" Karl Maria Wiligut (1866-1946), an
Austro-Hungarian colonel (locked up in a psychiatric clinic in 1924-1927),
had, under the pseudonym of "Weisthor", that is "Wise [Nordic God] Thor", influenced Himmler to believe that the refuge of Aryans from
"northernmost Thule", with parapsychological medium-life "memories" about
their inheritance was to be sought below the earth in Buddhist
Tibet. ... In the Satanist
literature the Nordic "Thule" and the SS Ancestral Heritage have become
metaphors of the Underworld, with Heinrich Himmler as a Satanist adept.
(A political joke from the Third Reich prophesied that, after its final
victory, Himmler would become Underworld Marshall when Goering, the
Reich’s Marshall, shall have been promoted to world Marshal.)

According to Jan
van Helsing (Geheimgesellschaften und ihre Macht ... [“Secret Societies
and their Power”], 1993), Tibetan monks worked together with Templar
Knights who were organized in the highest lodge of the
“black sun”
on the establishment of the
Third Reich. The secret order had (and still has) an important base
underground in the Himalayas. The ruler of the underground kingdom is said
to be “Rigden Iyepo”, the king of the world, with his representative on
the surface, the Dalai Lama. In Die schwarze Sonne von Tashi Lhunpo [The
Black Sun of Tashi Lhunpo] (1996), McCloud reports on the survival of
the national socialist Thule group in Tibet. They are the followers of a
“sun oracle” there. For Wilhelm Landig (Götzen gegen Thule ...
[Idols against Thule], n.d.), Tibet is also “the realm of the black sun!

[Zaphod Beeblebrox] The Magratheans all lived underground, you know.
[Arthur Dent] Why – was the surface polluted or over-populated?
[Zaphod Beeblebrox] No, they just didn’t like it very much.

Explosives are a mixture of fuel and oxygen. Thousands of years ago, the
Chinese discovered that a mixture of charcoal, sulphur and potassium
nitrate burns at a rapid rate. Sulphur and charcoal are the fuel and
potassium nitrate provides the oxygen. The Chinese used this mixture for
fireworks. Eventually, it was also used as gunpowder and bombs. Potassium
nitrate is a fertilizer. Our ancestors found it in caves. It's
produced by bacteria as they decompose organic material. Sulphur can be
found near volcanoes. This mixture is still used in fuses and
fireworks. But the military has switched to a more destructive explosive
in which oxygen is attached directly to the hydrocarbon molecule.
Nitroglycerin and TNT are examples.

Ptah, the Vulcan of the Egyptians
Catholic
traditionalist Patrick Buchanan showed some awareness of this same
restlessness and desire for new conflicts among the neocons during the
1999-2000 presidential campaign, when he commented that he was alarmed by
the clique around candidate G. W. Bush -- a reference to the neocon group
that pretentiously and ignorantly called itself the "Vulcans." In a
speech about foreign policy, Buchanan noted that he had worked with some
of these neocons in previous administrations, and that he now found them
consumed by nostalgia for the Cold War, and therefore very likely to
pursue "conflict," "intervention," "confrontation," and "bullying."
Vulcan, or Hephaestos, was of course the Graeco-Roman god of volcanoes,
fire, and the smithy. He was married to Venus, but she betrayed him in
favor of Mars, the god of war. So Vulcan was a cuckold of Mars, as our
ignorant and pretentious Vulcans seem to have forgotten.

Drear and
devout the dead monks moan and rave
Within these cells of this my labyrinth:
They couple with the ghuls upon my grave,
And on my monument's marmoreal plinth
They rage in amorous rituals unto Pan,
Whose leer breeds Thersites and Caliban
-- The Scented
Garden of Abdullah the Satirist of Shiraz
In the initiation they get very drunk,
even in the Marine Corp they do that, it's called 'Dining in.' They have
the 'shellback' ceremony. They do a lot of homosexual enticement. The
boys, when they come in, when they are new recruits, they strip them nude,
they violate their personal parts, and a lot of that is going on even now.
My husband was the chief of staff for General Al Gray who was the
Commandant of the Marine Corp., and I probably shouldn't say this on the
tape, and you all can get rid of it, but he's a homosexual. Gray is what
they call a 'Cherry Marine.' They have to do that. They do that. In a
coffin. And it's even now coming into the military totally. The chiefs do
that. They put them in the coffin. They do the bowling ball trick.
-- Mrs. Kay Griggs on How the Government Works
These were good years for [Tom] Twetten.
After a lifetime of undercover work he seemed relaxed and comfortable with
his new authority [as CIA Deputy Director of Operations]. Though sober and
serious, he could also be playful. One Halloween, after being placed in
charge of all CIA spy operations, he had a "spook party" for his friends
and colleagues at the Agency. Twetten gave instructions that guests were
to arrive by passing through a neighborhood graveyard. Twetten, dressed as
a ghoul, had dug a hole on his property, and as guests arrived, he rose
ominously from the makeshift grave to greet them.
"The Book of Honor," by Ted Gup
Of the primeval Priest's assum'd
power,
When Eternals spurn'd back his Religion,
And gave him a place in the North,
Obscure, shadowy, void, solitary.
Eternals! I hear your call gladly.
Dictate swift wingèd words, and fear not
To unfold your dark visions of torment.
Lo, a Shadow of horror is risen
In Eternity! unknown, unprolific,
Self-clos'd, all-repelling. What Demon
Hath form'd this abominable Void,
This soul-shudd'ring Vacuum? Some said
It is Urizen. But unknown, abstracted,
Brooding, secret, the dark Power hid.
A self-contemplating Shadow,
The petrific, abominable Chaos.
His cold horrors, silent, dark Urizen
Prepar'd; his ten thousands of thunders,
Rang'd in gloom'd array, stretch out across
The dread world; and the rolling of wheels,
As of swelling seas, sound in his clouds,
In his hills of stor'd snows, in his mountains
Of hail and ice; voices of terror
Are heard, like thunders of autumn,
When the cloud blazes over the harvests.
